History of Bayview Composites

Bayview Composites began as Bayview Edison Industries, Inc. (BEI) in 2004 by a group of passionate   boat builders, tooling experts and an aerospace engineer, for the purpose of building semi-custom, trawler style yachts in the 50’ range.  The outcome resulted in Northwest Trawlers, a boating company with an award winning line of 45’ – 55’ trawlers tailored to the specific needs of the individual customer.  

BEI’s passion for tooling and fabrication led to other diverse and challenging markets including wind energy, where we manufacture rotor blades for wind turbines, and aerospace, where patterns are made for various aircraft assemblies.  In late 2009, Bayview Edison Industries changed its name to Bayview Composites to reflect our dedication to precision composite tooling and fabrication.  Today we remain an engineering driven and operationally-executed company, while blending machining technology and composite engineering.
